BUILDING BLOCKS: COMMUNITY ENVIONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
New York City local building laws 92-97 requires residential property owners and managers of municipal facilities like schools, to benchmark and upgrade their buildings to run more efficiently in order to control environmental issues such as excess energy consumption, chemical pollution & storm-water runoff.
While these changes are vital to achieving the City’s sustainability goals, it can’t be done without support from its residents.
We provide you with the resources to understand and maintain garden spaces, green infrastructure, stormwater management, waste management, and energy efficiency systems in your community. These cost-effective measures, save us all money while enhancing the performance and beauty of our buildings, making our communities happier and healthier.
